Point

An accessory concept for the touch controllers of the virtual reality glasses Oculus Rift.

I asked myself how the current FPS gaming experience in virtual reality could be improved without replacing the existing touch controllers of the Oculus Rift?

My answer was Point, a VR peripheral with magnetic attachment points for the Oculus Touch controllers. By providing a more stable attachment for the controllers, it allows for improved aiming accuracy and less fatigue during gameplay.

With redesigned battery covers that include a magnetic base, existing Touch controllers can be used with Point without having to make complicated changes to the controllers themselves. This makes the accessory a cost-effective upgrade for wide market acceptance.
